Pre-Publication Regulatory Notice

NOTICE: This document represents draft legal framework under active counsel review. It is not finalized legal advice. Consult with qualified legal counsel prior to commercial platform launch.

01

Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Nxus ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and mobile applications. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data responsibly with end-to-end telemetry encryption.

02

Information We Collect

We may collect the following categories of data in connection with your use of our platform:

  • Contact information (name, verified email, mobile phone number)
  • Precise geolocation telemetry (when operating or requesting via the Nxus app)
  • Trip history, routing coordinates, and dispatch metadata
  • Payment credentials (processed via PCI-DSS compliant vaulting partners)
  • Device architecture, OS version, and diagnostic network logs
03

How We Use Your Information

Collected data is leveraged exclusively to maintain platform integrity, safety, and dispatch efficiency:

  • Dispatch matching and intelligent spatial routing algorithms
  • Automated fare reconciliation with transparent 90/10 split processing
  • Incident detection, emergency SOS triangulation, and safety verification
  • Regulatory compliance with NYC Taxi & Limousine Commission mandates
  • Direct security and transaction notifications
04

Information Sharing & Protection

Nxus strictly does not monetize, sell, or rent your personal data to third parties. We disclose telemetry only to vetted infrastructure providers facilitating core dispatch operations, to municipal authorities when mandated by lawful subpoena, and in urgent situations to protect rider or driver physical safety.

05

Data Security & Encryption

We implement defense-in-depth architectural security including TLS 1.3 in-transit encryption, AES-256 at-rest database encryption, and rigorous zero-trust role-based access controls across all production clusters. While no digital infrastructure is completely immune, our security engineering adheres to the highest modern standards.

06

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you retain full rights to inspect, rectify, export, or permanently purge your personal records from our databases. You also hold the right to revoke consent for secondary telemetry tracking at any time.

07

Cookies & Local Storage

We use privacy-conscious essential cookies and session tokens strictly necessary for secure authentication, theme state, and high-performance UI. You may configure your browser to decline non-essential cookies without degrading core site functionality.

08

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

Nxus does not sell personal information or exchange it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We proactively uphold the highest consumer data privacy standards across all jurisdictions.

To register a formal privacy request or verify your current account status, please submit an inquiry via our contact portal.

09

Children’s Privacy

Nxus is built exclusively for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect, store, or solicit personal information from minors. Accounts identified as underage will be immediately terminated.

10

Policy Modifications

We may amend this Privacy Policy periodically as new mobility technologies and regulatory frameworks evolve. Substantive modifications will be announced through our digital platforms and communicated directly to registered members prior to enactment.
