NYC TLC compliance
Nxus is designed to operate as a prearranged For-Hire Vehicle (FHV) service in accordance with NYC regulations upon launch.
Prearranged FHV Service
Nxus operates exclusively as a digital prearranged For-Hire Vehicle (FHV) dispatch service. Every trip is arranged directly through the Nxus app. Nxus does not permit or support street hails.
Licensed Base Requirements
All participating drivers must maintain active NYC Taxi & Limousine Commission TLC Driver Licenses, authorized FHV vehicle registrations, and required commercial liability insurance.
No Street Hails
In strict compliance with NYC TLC regulations, street hails are prohibited. Drivers cannot accept random street passengers through Nxus. Every trip must originate as an in-app digital booking.
